You've spent years being the woman everybody falls back on.

Chronic overfunctioning has burnt out your nervous system. Imposter syndrome told you that all your achievements were a matter of luck rather than skill.

These are the patterns your body adapted to survive, and EMDR gives you a direct path to resolve them at the source.

I'm Lynn Scott, an EMDR-certified therapist and Approved EMDRIA Consultant in Ontario, California.

How I can help you

Three ways we can work together

Intensives are uniquely suited to and effective for processing deep-rooted systemic or generational trauma, called legacy burdens.

Extended Sessions

Instead of hour-long sessions, we work together for two to three hours at a time, giving your nervous system room to complete what it started.

EMDR Intensives

Half-day to multi-day sessions built for uninterrupted progress. Expect real, sustained momentum toward change.

Whole-Person Support

Perfectionism, food, and body image often share the same roots. When that's part of your story, we work with all of it together.

My Approach

I provide an integrated IFS and EMDR approach because both of these models focus on our inherent capacity for healing.

I may also draw on other evidence-based modalities to ensure that our work together is tailored to your needs.

Healing isn't about becoming someone different. It's about coming home to who you already are beneath what you've had to carry.

I became a therapist because I know this pain from the inside — and because I couldn't bear the thought of people carrying it alone when healing is possible.

You don’t have to be ready in any particular way. You just have to be curious — even a little — about whether something different might be possible.
